DIY watercolour travel kit

I want to learn painting with watercolours and I already had some tube paints at home. I'd prefer a smaller kit to take along with me, though, so after some research I decided to make my own travel kit. I found the tin case and put some nice stickers on it, behold the lovely one from . Inside, I hot-glued beer bottle caps from our trash Then, I squeezed the paint in the 'pans', let it dry, voila! It works. As soon as my tube paint is used up, I'll invest in proper pans. :!: Please feel free to recommend good watercolour pans/brands!


I also purchased one of those waterbrushes to go with the kit, and it's a bit tricky to work with. But I guess I can get used to it. The kit went to Denmark with me, and I'll also take it along to the Netherlands in the middle of September. Oh god, I wish it already WAS travel time! My internship is killing me ;__; I should have taken the goddamn summer off to relax and do the internship next March, but whatever, it's too late now...full of remorse, bitterness and terrible pms atm x__x The time will come when I say 'fuck all this' and just take a break of half a year or so. I guess it would do me good. At least my physical health is good, I've been without my meds for 2 months now and my body has not yet tried to kill itself again, which is good, I guess.
